Goodwill Industries Week Celebrates 115 Years of Changing Lives

For 115 years, Goodwill has worked in communities to help people get back to work and support their families. Every day, Goodwill of Western New York helps individuals facing challenges to finding employment to gain skills, find employment, obtain job training, and receive necessary supports such as financial education and transportation. Goodwill Week also celebrates Goodwill's innovative social enterprise model. Goodwill of WNY sells donated items in its 11 stores and online at shopgoodwill.com to create the job training and related services customized to meet the needs of individuals and families in Western New York.

"Goodwill of WNY is inviting people to celebrate Goodwill Week with us and make a difference in our community by donating things they used to love and no longer need, shopping our stores or volunteering with us," said Tom Lynch, President & CEO. "Goodwill is changing lives through the power of work."

During the Goodwill Week commemoration, Goodwill of WNY will host a career fair, collaborate with long-time partner Fisher-Price to hold two donation drives, treat Goodwill Rewards members to a special sale and more!
