The revenue generated from your donations of gently used clothing and household items is channeled directly back into Goodwill’s mission of providing the workforce development programs that help people build skills and gain work experience so they can find and keep jobs right here in Western New York. Items that are unsold are recycled, creating an additional funding stream for our programs.
When Goodwill receives donations that are on the list of items below that we are unable to accept or items that are not recyclable, it must dispose of them, raising expenses and reducing the revenue available for our mission.

Drop-off
Goodwill accepts donations at all of its stores and at conveniently located attended donation trailers across Western New York. At any of our sites, a friendly donation attendant will come to your car, unload your donations, and provide a tax receipt upon request.
Mobile Donation Unit
A new free service that parks a Mobile Donation Unit in your driveway for up to three days. Load it up with your donations and we will pick it up. Perfect if you are moving, for estate cleanouts, or community events.
Priority Pickup
We have partnered with The Junkluggers to provide this discounted fee-based pickup services that will help load you items and donate them to Goodwill or dispose of responsibly.

Goodwill of Western New York is a qualified 501 (c) (3) charitable organization. If you itemize your deductions on your federal tax return, you are entitled to claim a deduction for your donations to Goodwill.
