Goodwill of WNY Holds 25th Annual Pathways to Success Achievement Awards
Goodwill of Western New York celebrated its 25th Annual Pathways to Success Achievement Awards at The Powerhouse at Color Park in Buffalo. More than 350 guests gathered for an inspiring evening recognizing individuals and community and business partners whose achievements, dedication, and support exemplify Goodwill’s of Western New Yorks mission of empowering people to reach their fullest potential through the power of work.
A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Goodwill of Western New York President’s Award to Tops Friendly Markets, recognizing a decades-long partnership that has made an extraordinary impact on Goodwill and the communities we serve. Over the years, Tops has helped generate millions of pounds of donations, contributed hundreds of thousands of dollars to support workforce development programs, and provided invaluable leadership through team members who have served continuously on Goodwill of Western New York’s Board of Directors for more than two decades. Their guidance, expertise, generosity, and steadfast support have played an immeasurable role in helping Goodwill grow into the organization it is today.

Through Goodskills Career Builder, Chris turned setbacks into opportunities, continuing his training and ultimately launching a new career as a Production Technician at Viridi, a leading provider of clean-energy technology in Buffalo, New York. His journey is an inspiring example of perseverance, determination, and never giving up on a brighter future.
After five years out of the workforce, Alan embraced a new beginning, completing Goodskills Career Builder and additional manufacturing training before becoming a CNC Programming Apprentice at Classic Brass in Jamestown. His journey is a powerful example of perseverance, growth, and what’s possible when determination meets opportunity.
After arriving in the United States, Mohammad participated in Goodskills Career Builder and turned determination and hard work into a growing career in technology. His journey from program graduate to IT professional is an inspiring example of what’s possible when opportunity meets perseverance.
2026 Community Partner of the Year
The Niagara Falls Housing Authority works to provide quality housing and opportunities that strengthen the lives of Niagara Falls residents. Through its partnership with Goodskills Career Builder, NFHA also helps connect residents with training, employment, and opportunities for career growth, empowering individuals and families to build stronger, more sustainable futures.

Through its partnership with Goodskills Career Builder, TAM Ceramics looks beyond the resume, recognizes potential, and gives people the opportunity to build meaningful careers and brighter futures. Their commitment creates pathways for individuals to turn their skills and determination into lasting opportunities.
Through its partnership with Goodskills Career Builder, FedEx Logistics has hired 17 program graduates, creating meaningful employment opportunities and helping individuals build successful careers and brighter futures.
